HAIR HAIR HAIR!

As some of you know, I recently had to withdraw from hair academy due to injuries from my car accident in August. No more hair styling for me...well at least no more hair styling that I cant take six hours to do because I have to take frequent breaks to sit and rest my back and shoulders. So since I cannot get licensed to style hair, I figured I would put my creative eye to use by making decorations for your hair!

So here are some of my new creations:

My fiance and his mom call this my dragonfly. I guess with the green ribbon on the clip it makes it look like a dragonfly. I made the flower out of left over seed beads and wire from some of my bracelets.

This is my very me piece. I made it with leopard print ribbon and feathers in purple colors. I especially like the shape it ended up in. It feels very modern with a 20's vibe to me...

When I made these two, I had my little niece Avery in mind. I know she loves pretty flowers and she has fine hair. So I made two different versions in hopes that one of them will hold in her hair. The smaller of the two is made with a snap clip like the ones I wear on a daily basis. The larger is made with an alligator clip like the ones I used in school for setting curls.

I made this clip thinking of warmer weather. Daffodils always remind me of when the cold is finally going away because where I grew up daffodils blooming always meant it was tulip festival time, which meant it was almost summer.

I absolutely love this clip. I made it with some left over flowers I got for scrap-booking on clearance. Once I got them home I used them once and almost regretted buying them because I was sure I would never use them again. Now I have about 7 clips made out of these little flowers. Heck Yes! Right!

I just absolutely love these flowers. I left the stem on them so you can kind of hide the clip they are attached to if you wear it on an up-style like I have here, or you can put it right above your ear so it looks like you're doing the good old effortless pick a flower and put it behind your ear look. Difference is, this flower will stay, and wont die.
So there are just some of the new products I am listing in my shophandmade.com store! Check it out if you want to see some more detailed pictures of these clips or some of the new ones I make during the course of this week!

So go check out the new store, and join the thousands of people who.....(wait for it) SHOPHANDMADE.COM!

was that too cheesey?

On a less cheesy, less sales pitchy note, here is a link to the new site.

All of my bracelets and coasters are listed and I am currently in the process of listing all my earrings and necklaces.
Hope you all enjoy this new site!

Now for my great exciting news! I am staring a beaded flower barrette line! Pictures soon to come.
